在信息时代里,知识已成为最主要的财富来源,而知识工作者就是最有生命力的资产,组织和个人的最重要任务就是对知识进行管理。知识管理 是网络新经济时代的新兴管理思潮与方法,管理学者彼得•杜拉克早在一九六五年即预言:「知识将取代土地、劳动、资本与机器设备,成为最重要的生产因素。」受到信息化蓬勃发展,知识管理的观念结合因特网建构入口网站、数据库以及应用计算机软件系统等工具,成为组织累积知识财富,创造更多竞争力的新世纪利器。知识管理将使组织和个人具有更强的竞争实力,并做出更好地决策。
为促进信息与知识管理等领域的学术交流与合作,ICIKM 2012年在马来西亚吉隆坡应运而生,之后3年相继在成都,曼谷以及上海召开。第五届ICIKM将于2016年7月22-24日在中国地质大学国际会议中心举行,会务组 热忱欢迎从事相关技术研究的专家、学者和专业技术人员踊跃投稿并参加大会。
