Information Security in Smart City Technologies
Web-Technologies and Software for Smart City
Geospatial Technologies
ICTs and Urban Studies
3) eHealth
The section covers a wide range of aspects the new electronic processes and ICTs may support the modern healthcare. The global transformation of healthcare systems due to new technologies comprise of the development of diagnostics and treatment, delivery of better medical services, provision of accurate healthcare statistical data for smarter management etc. The discussion will focus on such topics as:
ICT for Medial Purposes of Diagnostics, Treatment and Rehabilitation
ICT and Global Healthcare: Big Data Accumulation and Processing
ICT for Better Healthcare Management
Modeling and Visualization Tools for Medical Purposes
Bioinformatics
4) eScience
Contemporary social and humanitarian research has become more complex and sophisticated in its usage of information technology achievements. The synthesis of Informatics and Social Sciences (Humanities) opens new horizons for inquiry based on Big Data analysis and high-tech calculations, providing more accurate arguments and predictions. The section will be devoted to the discussion of mutually beneficial collaborations between technical and social fields to boost scientific progress, as well as to presentations of results of such collaborations. Preliminary issues here are:
Intelligent Calculation Systems;
Big and Complex Data;
Network Analysis for Scientific Research;
Virtual Reality, Modeling and Visualization for Scientific Purposes.
5) eKnowledge
ICT provide unprecedented opportunities for science and education to be globally accessible, hence making universities, libraries and academia adapt to new communication environment. The prospects, practices and perils of new technologies’ usage in the sphere of knowledge – sharing will be discussed in this section, encompassing the following topics:
E-Learning and University Transformation
E-Libraries and Transformations of Science
Open Science, Open Research and Open Access
All accepted papers will be published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (indexed in Scopus).
