We are pleased to announce the fifth edition of the International Conference on Telecommunications and Remote Sensing - ICTRS'16, organizaed by IICREST under the auspices of URSI, with previous editions in Milan (2015), Luxembourg (2014), Noordwijkerhout (2013), and Sofia (2012), co-located with EHST 2016. The Spiritual Father of ICTRS used to be Blagovest Shishkov (In Memory of Blagovest), we are happy and honored to develop the conference further. Providing a specialized forum to researchers and practitioners interested in telecommunications and remote sensing, ICTRS welcomes not only foundational contributions but also more application-oriented ones. Hence, the conference areas are organized in two tracks, namely: (i) Foundations Track; (ii) Applications Track. Particular areas of interest within each of the mentioned tracks, are:
FOUNDATIONS TRACK: (i) Wireless Telecommunications and Networking; (ii) Electromagnetic Waves and Fields; (iii) Electronics and Photonics; (iv) Remote Sensing and Data Interpretation; (v) Context Awareness. APPLICATIONS TRACK: (vi) Green Radio Communications; (vii) Remote Sensing and Environment; (viii) Wireless Telecommunications and Military Applications; (ix) Remote Sensing and Defence; (x) Tele-Medicine Applications; (xi) Context Aware Mobility Solutions.
