IEEE INDICON conference is an annual event started by IEEE India Council. Every year it has been hosted by one of the Sections in India, in the areas of Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, as well as Electronics and Communication Engineering. The 13th edition of the conference, INDICON-2016, is organized by IEEE Bangalore Section. The 2016 edition of the conference has included, in addition to the areas mentioned earlier, Humanitarian Technology as a new addition.

Over the past few years, INDICON has emerged as a well-recognized and an eagerly anticipated event in the country because of its high quality technical sessions, keynotes and also for the networking opportunities that it provides. Authors are invited to contribute original research papers which can be submitted electronically via the conference website . The papers that are accepted after review, registered and presented in the conference will be included in the Proceedings of IEEE INDICON 2016. The process for IEEE Xplore acceptance to publish the accepted papers has been started.

Bangalore is the capital of IT Industries in this part of the globe. Moreover, at present it is also entrepreneurs’ capital in India. Hence, IEEE Bangalore Section hosts an International conference on Electronics, Computing and Communication (CONECCT) each year. This year CONECCT 2016 will be co-hosted with INDICON 2016. We look forward to welcoming you in the technically-vibrant garden city of Bengaluru!
