The SPE Asia Pacific Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Social Responsibility (HSSE-SR) Conference is a strategic platform where energy professionals meet to discuss, debate and share the latest technological advancements, technical knowledge and lessons learnt to improve efficiency and remain sustainable in the current climate. This 4th edition returns to Kuala Lumpur from 4–6 April 2017.
Standing in a dynamic period of a constantly shifting industry landscape, the conference is aptly themed “Stepping Up in the New Norm.” Amidst an evolving technical and business climate, today more than ever, there is an imperative need to re-examine and challenge current practices while managing stakeholders’ expectations. More importantly, how does the industry apply these lessons? How does it respond to and stay ahead of emerging technical, regulatory and societal challenges in safe, secure and environmentally sustainable ways? How can the industry advance and meet its growing needs without compromising on HSSE?
This event will gather regional and global experts and practitioners across the oil and gas value chain to share best practices, progressive approaches and innovative applications to enhance HSSE performance. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights from influential industry leaders and subject-matter experts, and together address what it means for the industry to step up and how to positively engage in the new norm.
