On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the programme steering committee for the Reservoir Characterisation and Simulation Conference and Exhibition (RCSC), we are delighted to welcome you to the 6th edition themed ‘The Art of Effectively Communicating with your Reservoir Enhancing Profitability and Achieving Sustainability’. The event will take place on 8–10 May, 2017 at Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Since its establishment in 2007, RCSC has become a landmark event in the regional conference calendar, engaging experts from the industry to debate the latest updates and progress in different disciplines related to reservoir characterisation and modelling.

An elaborate and comprehensive agenda, including an executive plenary session with distinguished industry experts and technical leaders, who will share their experiences and best practices in balancing business needs and economic values, has been chosen for the conference. The conference programme’s expectation is to foster interactive and open-minded discussions highlighting the benefits from:
