The 2017 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Organic Reactions and Processes will celebrate its 63rd consecutive annual gathering of the foremost experts in the art of bond formation. This GRC conference attracts a diverse group of scientists from both industry and academia who seek to unravel the latest trends in modern organic chemistry to create unique molecular architectures. 

The 2017 meeting will feature invited lectures that span recent fundamental discoveries to large-scale implementation of modern methods. The program will feature speakers that are both well-established and emerging young scientists from academia and industry across several continents. Each session will offer important chemical insights into current problems relevant to both students and seasoned scientists. Topics include the latest in industrial process chemistry, total synthesis, chemical biology, catalysis, methodology development and reaction mechanism. By bringing together diverse scientists to discuss the latest trends and unpublished results in pre-competitive space, the conference promotes the rapid adoption of the latest insights by both academic and industrial practitioners. The lively discussions directly impact our current understanding of chemistry while simultaneously sowing the seeds for critical collaborations among attendees. 

In addition to the exciting lineup of speakers, this conference also features outstanding and highly energetic poster sessions. Thus, attendees are strongly encouraged to submit a poster abstract at the time of their applications. A subset of the posters will be selected to present oral "short talks" on Thursday morning, providing an outstanding opportunity to share your research with leaders in the field. 

This conference becomes heavily oversubscribed, so we encourage early application. The deadline for submitting poster abstracts is June 25th, 2017, four weeks before the conference begins.
