The Gordon Research Seminar on Catchment Science: Interactions of Hydrology, Biology and Geochemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The ability to effectively cross disciplinary boundaries and fully grasp interfaces or transitions in an ecosystem requires a keen ability to identify essential differences among the major research methodologies applied in catchment science. This weekend research seminar will survey major research disciplines in catchment science and highlight integrative projects that clearly define and cross boundaries within the catchment thus equipping seminar participants with foundational knowledge to fully engage in major themes presented at the Gordon Conference.
