The Gordon Research Seminar on Photochemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and pioneering ideas.

This meeting seeks to present a cutting-edge assembly of photochemical research scaling from current advances in molecular photochemistry to recent developments in photochemical devices both for solar energy conversion and storage, and for biological processes and applications. Topics will include, but not be limited to biological and medicinal photochemistry, organic and inorganic mechanistic photochemistry, green chemistry, spectroscopy, materials, applications, and solar energy.

This meeting will also feature a mentorship panel discussion on effective strategies in preparing for careers in science and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This panel will be composed of a diverse group of young Ph.D.s who have recently started successful careers in industry and academics.
